Vera Yuan is a creative director with over twenty years of experience in advertising, branding, design and art direction with an emphasis on fashion. Her art direction has had an international presence with ad campaigns widely published in such magazines as Vogue, W, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar.
Vera spent four formative years at the branding consultancy Landor Associates focusing on designing identities, packaging and branded environments for Fortune 500 companies. She established and led the creative team at Anne Klein for six years and then moved on to serve as Vice President, Creative Director at Ann Taylor. Currently, Vera is Executive Director at the influential design studio Karlssonwilker Inc. where she has been an advisory partner for the past decade.
Vera Yuan received her B.A. in Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley. She has lived and worked in New York City since 1997, sharing time between Iceland and California with her husband and son.
